Tips for Marketer CV
We have collected some tips for CV writing and hope that it helps you.
1
List education should be in chronological order. Even insignificant courses should be written down. Just highlight the main stages (college, university, etc.) in bold or in font size. You can make a timeline and place on the right the main education on the left the refresher courses. This makes it easier for the HR or somebody else to understand your background.
2
Applicant should not write with humor. I consider a CV to be an official document. I don't have time to look for the needed information in your jokes. I quickly put such CV aside.
3
Applicant should not post too much about hobby. Employer perhaps is really happy that applicant have a hobby, but it just shows that person are a versatile individual. However, applicant specifics do not show a specialist skills. Someone who spent a lot of time on this portion of their CV appears more like someone who decided to watch the football game instead of meeting the deadline for a significant assignment.
4
Applicant should not indicate obvious competencies. For example, company is looking for a content marketer. HR specialist read CV and before getting to competencies dedicated to the areas in which a person created content (what is close to him) or what graphic editors he can work with, he or she sees a bunch of words that are rubbish. A person who has been creating infographics for a popular technical magazine for many years indicates that he knows how to work in standard office programs and easily copes with office equipment. But isn't it obvious even without an entry in the CV.

Applicant should not use very specific vocabulary. CV is not read by a marketer right away. Perhaps the recruiter simply does not know these complex synonyms. Applicant should try to bring the vocabulary in CV in line with the vocabulary used in the job posting.
